KINDNESS CLUB
 The focus of the Kindness Club is to promote kindness, friendship, and making good choices in life.

● Date: The Third Wednesday of every month (10/18, 11/15, 12/20, 1/17, 2/14*, 3/21, 4/11*, 5/16) *Second Wednesay because of school vacation ● Time: 2:30 -3:30 ● First Meeting will be in Mrs. Curley’s Room #214

Activities will include: mini service projects for our community and team building activities.
Please feel free to bring a snack (if you have allergies please let us know)
If you are interested please return the bottom of this slip to  Mrs. Curley in Room 214 or Miss Nelson in Room 119. Club is limited to first 30 students.

BAND

Dear Ryan Band Member:

Welcome to the second week of Band! I will send out an update every weekend to Band students and parents.

Each update will include the lesson schedule for the coming week, as well as any important information. Please take a few minutes to read through each update. 

Lesson BookIf you have not yet ordered a Lesson Book, please do so ASAP. Each student must have his/her own lesson book.

The book is Essential Elements for Band, Book 1 for your instrument. You may order it from Leonards Music or Amazon, or pick it up at Tewksbury Music Center. 

Schedule Change

When I put together the schedule, I forgot that this Thursday is a half day. So two lessons will change times this week:

• Saxophone 2 will be at 9:56 (combined with Saxophone 1)
• Oboe will be Wednesday at 8:20 (combined with Tuba)

Tuesday, October 3

• Late Lessons - 2:30-3:30

Wednesday, October 4

• Tuba/Oboe - 8:20
• Flute - 9:08
• Clarinet 1 - 9:56
• Make-Up Lessons - 12:00
• Clarinet 2 - 12:49
• Trumpet - 1:37
• Late Lessons - 2:30-3:30

Thursday, October 5 (half day)

• Low Brass (Trombone/Baritone) - 8:20
• Percussion - 9:08
• All Saxophones - 9:56
• No Make-Up Lessons

Well, now that Fall has truly arrived, we can enjoy the fact that it will be a lot less hot on the stage this week. 

Please take a look at the first half or so of Kalinka and Dreamcatcher before Tuesday's rehearsal. This will help our rehearsal go much more smoothly.
