SCHEDULE AND EVENTS FOR WEEK ENDING DECEMBER 14

BAND
Dear Ryan Band Member:

All of our pieces are starting to come together. Make sure you keep working on all three, as well as your next sticker songs!

Chamber Songs
What's a chamber song? It's a song you play either by yourself or with one or more friends.

Can you do one for our January concert? Yes!
Do you have to do one? No. This is completely optional.

What do I have to do?
  1. Pick a song
  2. Ask some friends (or not)
  3. Practice the song together
  4. Audition the song for me. You or your group will have to play the song for me before the concert. The audition deadline is January 17.
Tips:
  • The harder the song is, the more impressive it will be. (So, no, you can't play Hot Cross Buns.)
  • If you're playing with a group, make sure you figure out a time to rehearse together. (And practice the song on your own first.)

SCHEDULE AND EVENTS FOR WEEK ENDING DECEMBER 7

BAND
Dear Ryan Band Member:

We did a great job learning our concert music this week. Keep practicing those songs on your own, and don't be afraid to ask questions in your lessons.

Half Day Thursday - No Rehearsal
This Thursday is a half day, so there will be no rehearsal. If you normally come on Thursday, feel free to come to rehearsal on Wednesday instead this week.

There WILL be lessons on Thursday, but the schedule is different. See below.

Next Saturday - TEF Fundraiser at Barnes & Noble in Burlington
Next Saturday, December 8, the Tewksbury Education Foundation hosts its annual book fair. Mention the TEF when you make your purchase, and they get a portion of the funds.
