So sorry I wasn't able to rehearse with you guys this week. Thanks, Lily and Billy, for stepping in! We get one more rehearsal together before vacation, though. And yes, we do have Full Band next week.

Once On This Island

Tonight (Friday) and Saturday night at 7:30; Sunday at 2:00. At the Wynn Middle School Auditorium. Come see your fellow musicians perform a tale of gods, peasants, hurricanes, car crashes, and love vs. death. Tickets are $5 for students, $10 for adults.

Important reminder: There will not be Full Band on Wednesday this week. I have to be at the Wynn at 2:00 all week for dress rehearsals of Once on This Island.See below for more info about the show, and another great performance this week.

Check out the TMHS Band and Chorus Holiday Concert - Thursday night at the TMHS Auditorium.
Once on This Island
The Wynn Middle School Drama Club presents Once on This Island, a musical about peasants, gods, grandhommes, and how love conquers all. Friday and Saturday at 7:30 PM, and Sunday at 2:00 PM at the Wynn Auditorium. Tickets are $5 for students, $10 for adults.

Dear Ryan School Families, The tumblers and apparel orders went home last week. If you have any issues with your orders please let me know. Also, did anyone get a destroyed cookies and cream pie that did not get a replacement yet?

I also have more tumblers and apparel to sell- if you are in need some holiday gifts please email me. The Tewksbury Tumblers are $20, Ryan T-shirts are $10, Ryan Flannel PJ's are $20 and Sweatshirt Hoodies are $10.

We have a few charitable events happening this holiday season: Toys for Tots and a Coat Drive. If you are able, please send in a new, unwrapped toy or game for the Toys for Tots drive by December 15. For the Coat Drive, you can send in “gently worn” coats or new coats now and through the beginning of January. We appreciate any and all donations for these charities.

COAT DRIVE

The coat collection this year will run until the first of January. The bin is located in the Ryan School Lobby. All sizes of gently used coats are welcome (adult, child, baby). No rips, missing buttons, broken zippers, or permanent stains. Anton's will clean your coat and then distribute it through human service providers.

MEHFIL DINE-OUT

Our next dine-out day and night will be at Mehfil Indian Cuisine in Tewksbury on Thursday, December 15th and Friday, December 16th.  10% of your total purchase will be donated to the Ryan School PAC!! Please either bring the notice attached or mention that you are with the Ryan School when ordering. This is good for dine-in and take-out. 

BOX TOP CONTEST- KEEP THEM COMING- SO FAR THE 5TH GRADE IS WINNING!!

Collect Box Tops and participate in a friendly competition between 5th and 6th grade for extra recess!!

This is how it works:

1. Collect Box Tops

2. Parent/ Guardians- Send to school with slip (attached below). Can send multiple times.

3. Students- Bring to office and put in bin marked Box Tops.

4. The PAC will transfer4 to containers in cafeteria.

5. First grade to fill container- EXTRA RECESS!!
