BOX TOPS CONTESTThis year we are going to have a traveling trophy each month to the homeroom with the most Box Tops for Educations sent in. The trophy will go to the homeroom with the most Box Tops sent in by
Friday, January 29th. All you need to do is: Save them, cut them out, send them in with your homeroom number and your first name and last initial on the baggie with the total number included as well.
Our goal this year is to raise $2,500 from Box Tops. The money raised will help and go toward Arts and Enrichment for ALL the Ryan Students.
Keep a look out for further contests this year as well.
Please feel free to contact, Jenn Griffin at
jenngrif3@gmail.com with any and all question you may have about this.
STOP AND SHOPHelp out the Ryan School by registering your Stop & Shop card. Sign up your family and friends, too!
It’s easy!
1)Go to :
http://stopandshop.com/aplus/register-card/ 2) Type in your card number and the first three letters of your last name.
3) Choose the John F. Ryan Elementary School. You can choose up to two schools! (Dewing and North Street participate as well!)
Every purchase earns points for our school that turns into cash at the end of the program and you keep all of your gas rewards!
RECYCLE THAT
Donate your unwanted books and clothing now in our purple and yellow bin at school! The bin will accept books, DVDs, used clothing in any condition, linens and clothing accessories. Good condition items are repurposed and resold, lesser condition items are turned into industrial rags and filling material. Please no encyclopedias or college text books. Lets earn money for our school and keep these items out of landfills!
INK RECYCLING PROGRAM The Ryan School participates in an ink recycling program. Bring in your used ink jets, laser toner cartridges, and used cell phones ( in a zippered bag) and the Ryan will recycle them. Proceeds will fund art and enrichment programming at our school! Save the earth and help the school!
PAPER RETRIEVER The Ryan School has two Paper Retriever bins. Bring your newspapers, office paper and catalogs to be recycled. We receive money for this paper and the proceeds go directly to the Ryan School arts and enrichment programming. Please no plastic bags or phone books
AMAZON
Amazon has a shopping program that benefits non-profits and the Ryan School PAC is now registered. It's called Amazon Smile and will donate 0.5% of the purchase price of eligible products to our PAC. If you shop on Amazon.com, go to
smile.amazon.com to designate the "John Ryan School Pac" as your school. Another great way to earn FREE money for our school and kids!
