BAND
Our first concert is next Tuesday, and this Wednesday is our dress rehearsal! Lots of schedule info for this week:

Dress Rehearsal - Wednesday 1:00
All Beginning Band members will meet on the stage at 1:00 on Wednesday. We will rehearse until 2:20. ALL Band members are expected to attend. This is the only time we all get to pay together before the concert. It's also when we find out where you'll be sitting. Some other details:
  • There will be an announcement at 1:00. But if your teacher sends you down at 12:49, you may come then.
  • Your teachers know about the rehearsal, but you should remind them that you will be missing their class - especially if you take after school lessons and your teachers aren't used to you missing class.
  • The custodians will be cleaning the lunchroom, so instrument cases will have to go under your chair, on the sides of the stage, or in the Band Room.
  • Saxes, Trumpets, and Clarinets will share stands.
  • You will have time after rehearsal to go to your locker.
  • It is called a dress rehearsal, but you do not need to dress up for it.
No After School Rehearsals This Week
Wednesday, we're rehearsing during the day. Thursday is a half day. So no rehearsals after school this week. There will be after school lessons with Mr. A as usual, though.
Flute Lessons Moved to Tuesday 1:37
Flute lessons would have been during the dress rehearsal, so they have been moved to Tuesday for this week. Note: I believe that 1:37 is a different time than I said last week.
