Dear Ryan Band Student/Parent:

I will be sending out an update for Band students every weekend. It will include any notes about our rehearsals (once they start) and concerts, plus the upcoming week's lesson schedule.

No Lessons for Low Brass, Tuba, or Percussion This Week

Unfortunately, because of the ALICE assembly on Wednesday and the half day on Thursday, there will be no lessons for low brass, tuba, or percussion this week. For low brass and tuba, feel free to start playing some songs on your own. Just make sure that you read/watch the online video about oiling your valves beforehand.

Dear Ryan School Families, All students should have received the fundraising information (We will be selling pies/cookies and tumblers)- please look in backpacks and folders if you do not have it. The only team that has not received them is 6C. The company sent 3 boxes of catalogs but only 2 came and the 3rd one was tracked by UPS- they found the box but it was empty. 6C will be getting the information tomorrow.

We have found that a large number of students still have past due library books that weren't returned at the end of last year. We will b6e sending home past due notices this week and are asking parents & guardians to look around home to see if you can find the book(s). In the event you cannot locate the book(s) we are asking that you either send in a check, made out to the John F Ryan School, so we can purchase a replacement book(s) or you replace the book yourself using Barnes and Noble, Smile Amazon or your internet site of choice.  If you have any questions please contact the library atmailto:ryanschoollibrary@gmail.com.
